What is Edvoy Stays and how does it work? 

Edvoy Stays connects you with budget-friendly accommodation options near 700+ universities. You can book your place online with no service charge and rest assured that these stays are verified.

Here’s how it works:

1. Head to the Edvoy app and select Stays under the Explore page.

2. Select the Get Started button, once you read the information provided. You’ll be taken to a page where you need to fill in your requirements.

3. Add your stay preferences such as – location, type of stay (you can choose between a private room, shared room or entire unit), and move-in year and month.

4. Once you submit your details, they will be shared instantly with accommodation partners. You can expect a callback within 24-48 hours on further steps, document submission and shortlisted stay options. Please note that rent typically includes utilities such as water, electricity, and internet. Some accommodations also offer additional amenities like gym access, laundry facilities, and common areas.

5. In terms of documents, you'll need a valid ID (passport or national ID), a university offer letter, and sometimes a guarantor form. Requirements may vary based on the accommodation and location.

6. If you need an update regarding your application, you can head to the Status tab. You can also request a callback if you need any assistance and your dedicated advisor will help. Our advisors will also provide detailed information about the neighborhoods, including safety, amenities, and proximity to universities.

In case your plans change, cancellations are allowed. However, the cancellation policy varies depending on the property. Some may offer a full refund if canceled within a certain period, while others might have a non-refundable deposit. Check the specific terms before booking.
