Graduate Diploma in Nursing

If you're an overseas educated Registered nurse, this programme is designed to equip you with the confidence and skills to plan and co-ordinate complex patient care.

It is a full time one year programme with intakes in February and August.

Courses include: Academic Writing, Health Assessment, Understanding Mental Health and Illness, Communication and Clinical Skills, Rapid Assessment of the Acutely Unwell Patient, Diabetes Management, Maori Health Nursing and Pharmacology.

Please note: This programme is intended as professional development for overseas nurses. New Zealand-trained nurses seeking professional development are advised to explore our Graduate Certificate in Nursing.
