BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy

Learn to support people of all ages with communication or swallowing problems and qualify as a Speech and Language Therapist with this BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy degree. Our course, which is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and endorsed by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, uses a variety of innovative activities and placements to provide you with the skills and expertise to gain employment from the moment you graduate. The course has been running for over 50 years' so rest assured that you will have first-hand advice from experienced professionals and be supported every step of the way. Taught at our recently expanded £71 million City South Campus, our facilities include two state-of-the-art SLT clinic rooms and a home environment suite to give you real-life experience and develop practical skills. Our staff are passionate about making a difference to you and society, and actively campaign for improved access to quality speech and language therapy services for all ages. Upon graduation you will be ready to apply to the HCPC for registration as a speech and language therapist. This course can be completed over 3 years full-time or 6 years part-time.
