Modules also provide opportunities to prepare for the professional certification programmes of global industries such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and Cisco.As part of our Cloud Computing module, we are proud to run Amazon AWS Academy, allowing you full access to all Amazon web services resources, materials, labs, online assessments and exams preparations.You'll be able to practice the technology provided by the world cloud leader and undertake a free Amazon AWS official certification MOC exam, as well as gain a 50% discount on Amazon AWS (Cloud Architecture) official certification exam (optional for students).**What will I study?**In the first year, you’ll acquire programming, network, and professional skills.In your second year you'll expand these to more advanced web applications, architectures, databases and emerging standards for mobile and cloud deployment of services.In your final year you'll consolidate skills in web application development and pursue specialisms in mobile, database and Artificial Intelligence technologies. You'll also integrate your skills and showcase your knowledge by undertaking a Final Year Project.**How will I be taught and assessed?**This course is offered as a four-year programme, including an initial Foundation Year. The Foundation Year will allow you to develop your academic study skills and build confidence in your abilities, identifying your own strengths and needs for progression onto an undergraduate degree.You’ll be taught by a team of expert academics and specialist professionals.
