Associate in Arts Social Justice Studies: Africana Studies (Transfer)
The Associate in Arts in Social Justice Studies: Africana Studies for Transfer (AA-T) degree is an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare students for transfer to a CSU. This program is designed to provide students with an introduction to the theoretical principles and practices of Social Justice Studies. Additionally, this program pays particular attention to the study of the life history, culture, and social justice traditions of Black people. This program meets the requirements for transfer to a CSU and toward a major in Africana Studies or those majors pertinent to race, ethnicity, and/or social justice.
