Certificate of Achievement Automotive Collision Repair: General Automotive Collision Repair
The General Automotive Collision Repair Certificate prepares the student for employment as an entry level collision technician. This course of study focuses on estimating basics, parts identification, refinish basics, automotive welding and small to medium sized damage repair. Students will learn vehicle design, hand and power tool use and specialty equipment used in the collision field along with safety. Graduates are employed as entry level technicians with a solid foundation for advancement into other aspects of the collision industry including management, insurance adjusting/appraising and business owners. Spatial intelligence, cognitive ability and hand-eye coordination are recommended for those entering the program.
