Arts: Joint Honours (International Languages)

Choose from a range of Arts subjects for a degree with multifaceted perspectives. You’ll examine areas central to contemporary society, including tradition, culture, theology, law, politics, communication, human-environment relations, and human behavior.

You’ll graduate with an honours degree in International Languages (DC293), this course is described in more detail in the About the Course tab above.

You’ll have the option to take a year abroad, extending your degree to four years and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Joint Honours) International.

Internship Year

You can opt to apply for a year-long INTRA work placement in Year Three. This will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your CV, increase your employability and experience the relevance of your study in the real world. This programme will prepare you for a variety of careers and also provides a foundation for postgraduate study.

I picked this course because it allowed me to study both Irish and Spanish and offered the chance to study abroad for a year. The modules that I have studied as part of my Joint Honours degree have really helped me to develop my language skills in a smaller class setting.
