Language and Linguistics - Linguistics

Linguistics program courses are taught by several departments (LLCL, English, Psychology, Communication & Multimedia Studies, and others). We offer coursework in the core areas of linguistics (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics), bilingualism, language acquisition, language teaching methodology, psycholinguistics, field methods, semiotics, and sociolinguistics. We also offer courses in the linguistic structure, history and dialectology of several languages (English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish).
