MSc Management
This MSc aims to equip you with the necessary knowledge, skills and techniques to be able to understand how business is conducted and the various challenges facing managers from a strategic and operational perspective. The MSc Management seeks to develop well-rounded, thoughtful, active, reflective and practical professionals with excellent skills.
How the course is taught?
A wide range of teaching methods are used including traditional lectures, workshops and small group tutorials.
We have provided trips to different types of organisations including Jaguar Land Rover, Michelin Tyres and the New Vic Theatre to enable students to experience different contexts for what they have been taught.
Assessment
The rich and varied assessment strategy adopted by this programme ensures student development of employability and academic skills, providing an opportunity to demonstrate both professional and academic attainment. Assessment design is largely driven by a number of key principles which include: promotion of independent learning, student autonomy, responsibility for personal learning and development of innovation and originality within one’s chosen area of interest. Note that not all modules culminate in a final examination.
