Training requirements to qualify as a solicitor
This is the full LPC master’s course and forms part of the vocational stage of training required if you wish to qualify as a solicitor. The Solicitors Regulation Authority recognises this course as meeting its training requirements and covering the necessary legal topics.

Learning to suit you
Designed to be as flexible as possible, this course will give you the option to study on campus or via online distance learning. If you choose our online distance learning delivery, you’ll be able to access our live LPC workshops anywhere in the world using Microsoft Teams. You’ll also have the opportunity to attend some on-campus sessions during key times such as induction, revision and for employability events.

Law Trove
You’ll be able to access a wide range of law textbooks online for free through Law Trove, a subscription-only service offered by Oxford University Press.

Industry expertise
You’ll be taught by lawyers with extensive professional expertise who will provide practical support as you refine your skills.

Mentor support
Your course will be focused on enhancing your employability and developing your professionalism. You’ll be paired with a professional mentor from the local legal community, who will provide practical support and professional guidance to help you excel in your course and progress in your career.
