The mission of the English Department at LMC is to enhance the intellectual, philosophical, and material lives of its students through the study of language and literature. We are committed to excellence, variety, and academic rigor that supports a person's identity (race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religious practices, political ideology, ability, etc.)
