BA in Social Studies Education 5-Adult
The B.A. in Social Studies Education 5-Adult will prepare you for a career teaching history, government, and other social studies classes at the middle, high school and adult levels. Social studies is where students learn to put current events into context and understand the complexities of the world around them. As a social studies teacher, you can inspire students to think critically about their world. You’ll have an opportunity to teach them how government functions and how to research the facts to support their ideas. Through teaching degree programs, students receive broad content knowledge in the core academic area of choice as well as in the art and science of teaching children.
