Emergency management focuses on organising communities to respond to disasters. It looks at how to survive disasters, rebuild social structures and infrastructure, and sustain and preserve life.
Massey’s Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Management will give you a range of knowledge. This entails theory and research in emergency management – its issues, practices and policies.
If you’re a mid-to-senior level emergency manager, and are interested in expanding your emergency management competencies, this diploma is for you. It is an advanced coursework degree. The Diploma will build on the core emergency management knowledge you’ve gained through industry experience and prerequisite qualifications.
