MA Social Research and Analysis
Our faculty take pride in helping you to launch your career with research at its center. Whether your interest is in health care, education, market research, customer and user experience, or elsewhere, we provide you with the research skills and applied experiences necessary for meeting your goals.
In the MA in Social Research and Analysis, we will train you to execute surveys, interviews and focus groups and analyze large datasets. You will get the chance to tailor your degree as well, with electives in social policy, communications & media or business analytics.
We also offer Certificates in Customer Experience & User Experience Research (CX & UX Research) and Data Collection and Management that can be completed on their own or as part of your Master’s experience by taking just a couple of extra courses. You can even use your Master’s elective credits toward a Certificate in Business Analytics.
Undergraduate majors in Sociology, Economics or Mathematics can start early and complete the Combined Bachelor’s & MA in Social Research & Analysis with just one additional year of study.
A Combined Degree program enables undergraduate students to enroll in graduate courses in their senior year, which can be counted towards the completion of both their Bachelor’s and Master’s degree requirements.
