MAT, Health and Physical Education Concentration
Physical Education prepares students to work with children and young adults in a variety of educational and community settings. Students who complete any of the concentrations in this program will have a broad background in the theories and applications of physical education. Graduates will be well-positioned to apply for graduate studies in related fields or obtain a range of education and fitness oriented professional positions.
Students with a baccalaureate degree who are interested in teaching may pursue the Post-baccalaureate program for initial teacher certification. Additional undergraduate coursework in the certification content area may be required to meet State and University certification standards.
