BA (Hons) Business and Enterprise (Top-Up)

The BA (Hons) ‘top up’ in Business and Enterprise provides a practical business education forentrepreneurial students who wish to further their knowledge of Business and Enterprise which will openup routes into postgraduate study, graduate jobs or growing their own businesses. Designed incooperation with and supported by employers, the programme has a strong focus on employability skillsappropriate to the workplace. This is a Level 6, Final Year BA (Hons) Business and Enterpriseprogramme which builds on the learning achieved in the Foundation Degree Business and Enterprise (orequivalent).The programme has been designed to further students’ knowledge of business and enterprise and ofgood business management practice. The programme also includes a requirement to complete aDissertation or an equivalent work based learning research project which will prepare students forpostgraduate study.The modules are focussed on the role of entrepreneurs within the business community and students areequipped to be entrepreneurs within an existing business organisation or with the skills to develop theirown business. The flexible timetable enables students to remain in employment while undertaking theprogramme.
