This pathway is designed to meet Associate in Business (AB) degree requirements with a concentration in Accounting. Completion of this degree opens doors to a variety of careers in sectors such as commerce, government, media, and nonprofit work. It also allows you to transfer at the junior level into an accounting program at a four-year college or university. Students in this pathway learn how to work with financial documents and efficiently and accurately organize large data sets. They also gain a familiarity with a range of financial management and budgeting software, as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting processes.
