Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) Program
The Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) program offers preparation for immediate entry-level employment in long-term care and/or home health agencies as well as in hospitals. The program includes theory, skills lab and clinical hours in basic nursing care skills, body mechanics, personal care, communication, and interpersonal skills. This program is approved by the Washington State Department of Health as a Nursing Assistant Training program. Nursing Assistant students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to take the Washington State Nursing Assistant certification examination.
