BA (Hons) German and History
COURSE OVERVIEW
History and German, with a year abroad, explores history through subjects including women’s history and gender, modern British social history and the history of religion, health and medicine. You will also study the rich diversity of German language, culture, film, history, translation and language teaching.

YOUR GERMAN AND HISTORY EXPERIENCE
During your four-year History and German course you will have an academic mentor for any pastoral and academic support you may need, and The Society of Ancient Studies and History student society organises social and cultural events.
We offer varied and flexible course content and you can tailor your degree to your own interests. As you progress through your course, you can choose to specialise in medieval, early modern or modern history.
