If you like computers and stopping bad guys, we can teach you how to combine those two interests. Our program can help prepare you for work for the government, industry, business, law, and other fields.

In fact, because this certificate is sponsored by both the departments of Criminal Justice and Computer Science, you will cover a wide range of materials in courses such as networking, cybercrime, and computer forensics. We'll also train you to identify and respond to attacks on local- and wide-area networks. You'll need a total of 21 credit hours to graduate, and your classes will include Networking and Cyber Risk Management, Computer Forensics, Law Evidence and Procedure, Investigating Online Crimes, Cybercrime and Forensics, and Elements of Forensic Science.
