BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering with Placement Year

Our accredited course will prepare you for a career as a skilled, creative professional specialising in aerospace engineering.

We work with industry experts and our accrediting bodies to ensure that you develop the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace.

Working with other engineering specialists on challenging and rewarding projects, such as those in the Sustainable Technology and Engineering Projects (STEP) lab, gives you an experience that mirrors industry. Placements and guest lectures provide valuable professional insight and networking opportunities.

You’ll learn with innovative researchers and develop your practical skills using our specialist facilities including a wind tunnel, flight simulators and the Sir Harry Ricardo Laboratories with IC engine test beds.

Our Aerospace Engineering MEng offers an extra year of study at masters level.
