BA (Hons) English Literature (Foundation Entry)

Our Foundation Entry degree courses are ideal if you’ve got the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly join an Honours programme. It’s a great stepping stone to a full degree.

Develop and strengthen your love of literary texts and gain skills in analysis, written and oral communication, and cultural and social sensitivity.

You’ll study Shakespeare, Dickens and the Brontë sisters, and you can also take options in American drama and literature, the fairy tale, children’s literature, the Gothic and the Grotesque.
