MA/PGDip Dance

This unique course offers you the opportunity to extend and develop your own creative dance practice by exploring and studying current bodies of knowledge and practice. Through a modular design you are able to build a portfolio of experience by pushing your creative boundaries as a performer, choreographer or educator, stepping into new and exciting territories in the field of dance.

This course celebrates the dance practitioner across the wider dance community. The course aims to weave critical inquiry with creative practice, thereby building your self-confidence in developing your practice and research in the context of current debates. You will have the opportunity to participate in classes, workshops, lectures, seminars and guest sessions. Working alongside our professional artists and researchers throughout your studies gives you an excellent opportunity to be inspired in building and expanding your own skills and knowledge. Furthermore, we have a range of excellent dance and rehearsal studios, performance spaces, IT facilities, and learning resources here at Creative Campus, Kingsway. These resources also include: stage lighting, sound, video and audio equipment and editing suites. We also have our excellent Seaborne Library on our Exton Park (Parkgate Road) site, not far from Creative Campus, Kingsway.
