From your very first day, you will begin your transformation from student to future Finance professional.

In your first year you will gain an understanding of the global business environment and develop fundamental management skills in finance and entrepreneurship, marketing, people and organisations.

In year two, you will translate this knowledge into making key business and financial decisions and explore the different ways businesses operate around the world. You will start to shape your career path by choosing an aspect of business that inspires you and will do a five week work placement that suits your personal interests and ambitions.

You will have the chance to undertake an optional year-long placement which really brings your course to life and will enhance your graduate employment prospects. How does a work placement at {Aston Martin sound}? That’s what [Becky] experienced during her time with us and is just one of many great placement opportunities this course provides. You may even have a year studying business and management abroad in Europe, North America, Asia or Australasia.

Your final year is even more tailored towards giving you the competitive edge you need to enter the area of business you want. You will carry out an original supervised research project into a subject you select and complete a module designed to maximise individual professional success. Most of what you study will be anchored to today’s business world but supporting you to challenge assumptions, make relevant management decisions and develop your commercial acumen. By referring to top companies and emerging sectors such as cognitive science, financial innovation and data analytics you will be well placed to focus and develop your career.
