BA (Hons) Economics and International Relations
During this course, you will learn the core subjects of an Economics degree, including micro- and macroeconomics, with examples and applications for day-to-day life, giving attention to the historical, social, political and international contexts that influence the development of modern Economics. At its heart, International Relations, is a discussion - at the individual, state and international level - it is about power within a global context. Its breadth allows for the development of student-oriented specialisms. State and non-state actors are examined through theoretical and practical lenses. Issues concerning security, war, terrorism, humanitarian interventions, the environment, the economy and how governments communicate are key areas.
