Moreover, it presents opportunities to engage with and critique ideas, as well as to apply theories to actual situations using case studies and scenarios.By studying the human past, it can help you gain a better understanding why the world is as it is and a greater appreciation of your place in it. Studying History will help you to acquire the skills that employers value, such as critical thinking, teamwork, communication skills, information handling and original thinking.
