Your transformation from new student to future marketing professional will begin from day one.

Year 1 introduces you to the core concepts and principles of marketing. You will learn how to understand customers and about branding, advertising and PR. From an early stage you will begin to apply your knowledge to real marketing situations and organisations and you will start to understand the importance of the wider marketing environment.

In Year 2, you will be thinking and acting in a creative and innovative way about how to connect the right products and services to the right customers, and how to develop brand loyalty and long-term customer relationships. You will learn how technology is changing the way we market to audiences, how customers are now an integral part of the marketing process and how your developing skills and experiences can be used to meet these challenges. The emphasis will be very much on developing your own career aspirations through undertaking practical marketing research projects and an integrated 5 week placement. The optional placement year (4 year course) offers a fantastic opportunity for students to experience marketing in a real-life situation and further build their practical skills.

Year 3 will build on your learning so far and allow you to delve deeper into more advanced marketing topics. You will start to look strategically about marketing and also explore in greater depth the importance of digital and online marketing and how to future proof your skills and knowledge. We will work closely with you to prepare you for your future career as you build your professional network.
