BSc (Hons) Forensic Psychology (including Foundation Year)

This course allows students to focus on the use of psychology in areas including understanding crime and criminality, criminal investigation and profiling, the criminal justice system, as well as the many specialist areas in which forensic psychologists work.This course is also accredited by The British Psychological Society as conferring eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), provided the minimum standard of 2:2 honours is achieved (subject to confirmation). This can be the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist, and allows you to apply for accredited postgraduate courses in forensic psychology.Foundation Year courses have been designed for students who do not have the necessary academic qualifications needed to enter directly into the first year of a degree but who have the ability and commitment to do so.
