MNurs MN Integrated Masters (Learning Disability Nursing)
This is a four year programme that will allow you to qualify in two fields of nursing. Your first field will be learning disability nursing. The aim of learning disability nursing is to place the service user at the centre of all decision making, therefore, teaching methods involve the inclusion of service users and carers in classroom settings and practice placements. You will also be taught by academics who are registered nurses with a wealth of skills, knowledge and expertise in their field of nursing and research.Your second field will be one of the following: adult nursing; child nursing; mental health nursing. You will choose your second field prior to the end of your second year. To help you decide which field to choose, you will be given the opportunity to experience all four fields of nursing in your first two years.
