As the world becomes more globalised, international health is an area of huge importance for healthcare professionals worldwide. This course will give you an insight into international relations and politics from around the world, while also allowing you to explore the cycle of poverty in Scotland and the effect that has on more local populations. You'll learn about the impact healthcare policy can have on individuals and groups and how healthcare compares across the world.

You will also have the opportunity to work with a hospital we have strong links with in Malawi - some of our students have even travelled here to carry out research projects and have gained an insight into how healthcare works in a low-income setting.
