MA (Hons) Classics/Social & Public Policy
**CLASSICS:** - Classics involves the study of the literature, history, art and material culture of ancient Greece and Rome. Study of Latin and/or Greek language is possible at any level. You will have the opportunity to visit archaeological sites and museums in Italy and Greece as part of your programme. **SOCIAL & PUBLIC POLICY**: - Social & Public Policy focuses on social problems such as poverty, homelessness and ill-health. The programme applies ideas from political science, sociology and economics to explore how governments shape their responses, and to understand the impacts of public policy on society. You’ll have the valuable opportunity of a work placement with a voluntary or public sector organisation.
