BSc (Hons) Computer and Cyber Forensics

Why Computer and Cyber Forensics?

Our Computer and Cyber Forensics degree prepares you to investigate cybercrime, as you learn how to process a digital crime scene, retrieve digital media, investigate evidence and report findings in legal contexts. Real-life case studies form a key part of the course, covering areas such as identity theft and financial crime, as well as information technology law. With the chance to gain experience on work placements at organisations such as Gloucester Constabulary and CGI, our graduates stand out from the competition. You’ll draw on the expertise of lecturers with extensive industry knowledge, as well as inspiring guest speakers from companies such as BT, Raytheon and Hewlett Packard. Students can also take advantage of cutting-edge facilities including a dedicated cyber lab, complete with industry-standard technology and software such as AccessData FTK and Cellebrite.
