Our Criminology and Criminal Justice (Level 6) course is a flexible programme allowing you to build on your previous qualifications such as a Level 5 course in a relevant subject (for example, uniformed public services, criminology or criminal justice). You’ll develop your critical thinking and research skills, and complete an applied research project on a topic of your choice. With the benefit of learning from experienced researchers, guest lectures and our strong links with professional organisations in the criminal justice system, our graduates stand out from the competition.You’ll be able to choose from optional subject modules, covering themes such as policing, restorative justice, homicide, sexual violence, prisons and rehabilitation, and forensic crime scene investigation. As such, you can tailor your study to your own particular interests and career goals, ensuring that you develop the skills and knowledge needed to be successful after graduation.
