**Why MSci Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation?**Our MSci Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation is an integrated Masters’ degree, which includes both undergraduate (levels 4-6) and Masters’ (level 7) content in one course. You’ll therefore gain advanced knowledge in areas such as programming and coaching processes in high performance sport, injury prevention methods and become skilled in developing movement competencies. You’ll also undertake needs analyses, implement testing procedures and design periodised training and rehabilitation programmes. As the course is underpinned by knowledge from sports science disciplines, our research active staff will support you to develop research ideas in strength, conditioning and rehabilitation related areas.Learning from UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) accredited coaches who are active and experienced in the field, you’ll use cutting-edge facilities including our strength and conditioning suite, sport and exercise laboratories and international-standard sports arena. You’ll also have opportunities to develop practical coaching skills in a variety of real-world settings on placements, utilising our strong links in the sector. Students gain valuable and varied experiences ranging from work with elite athletes at the likes of the Bristol Bears Rugby, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and Bristol City Women’s Football Club, to delivering school-based strength and conditioning programmes in Gloucester.
