BSc Operating Department Practice

Students studying this course will receive a payment of at least £5,000 a year. This doesn't need to be paid back and is in addition to any financial support received through your student loan.

Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a variety of surgical theatre specialities. You’ll gain high-quality clinical skills in anaesthetic, surgical and post-operative/anaesthetic care.
