<div><p>This programme offers the study of physics and selected topics in nuclear science and provides an excellent preparation for a career in nuclear related industries.There are links with many parts of the nuclear industry including those involved with decommissioning and homeland security. Staff from these institutions will be involved in the project work. The programme comprises modules in common with the Physics programme (including Mathematics support).This programme is accredited by the Institute of Physics (IOP) for the purpose of fully meeting the educational requirement for Chartered Physicist.This programme is available with a Year in China. The Year in China allows undergraduate students the opportunity to spend one year at our joint venture, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), following XJTLU's BA China Studies degree classes. XJTLU is a fully English-speaking university, located in Suzhou.
