MFA Studio Art with a Concentration in New Media Art
The New Media Art program for the M.F.A. degree in Studio Art integrates creative research, contemporary theory, and studio practice culminating in a solo exhibition.
New Media Arts students integrate the language of art and technology through an informed critical practice that includes the following:

- Physical computing
- Net-art
- Performance
- Sound
- Sensing devices
- Mapping
- Social practice
- Participatory media
While in the College of Visual Arts and Design, students participate in ideas and methodologies across disciplines while engaging in the critical practice of the fine arts.
