Thesis research and bespoke training either at Newcastle University, the University of Nottingham or at the site where the industrial partner is based.

Doctoral training students will have the benefit of working as a cohort and there will be workshops and training offered, at Newcastle and Nottingham. They will also be supported by the Programme Manager in Newcastle and Nottingham.
