PGCE Secondary (History)

Bring your graduate expertise, skills and enthusiasm to the imaginative and practical teaching of history to children of all abilities from ages 11–18. Our full-time, one year PGCE programme in history will qualify you for the ages 11–16 national standards for qualified teacher status (QTS) set by the Department for Education. The 24 weeks placement experience will sharpen your skills and fully prepare you for your future teaching career.
