BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Engineering with Integrated Foundation Year

This is a four-year version of our popular BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Engineering course, with an integrated foundation year. Learn how to apply engineering management techniques to ensure timely completion of projects. Implement and manage the maintenance procedures required to make sure machinery is running reliably and productively. Develop transferable skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as essential engineering skills.In the first year – the foundation year – you will study five modules: Essential Study Skills; Maths; Foundation module; Project; and Subject Specialiam. After completion of this foundation year, you will then move onto the Manufacturing honours degree course. This course will provide you with the necessary skills you will need to work effectively in a modern manufacturing engineering environment.Sunderland has been an excellent place to study engineering and technical subjects for over 100 years.
