This is a four-year version of our popular BSc (Hons) Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics course, with an integrated foundation year. Study the fundamentals of computer science and systems administration. Design and develop for web, multimedia and mobile platforms. Challenge your creativity and technical skills with a series of challenging, hands-on practical projects.In the first year – the foundation year – you will study five modules: Essential Study Skills; Maths; Foundation module; Project; and Subject Specialism. After completion of this foundation year, you will then move onto the Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics honours degree course. The course is excellent preparation for jobs in cybersecurity and digital forensics, which is a rapidly growing area given the rise in computer-related crime. At the same time, the course also covers all the fundamentals of computing, leaving your career options open. Core topics include web applications, database systems, programming and software development.
