BSc (Hons) Forensic Psychology with Integrated Foundation Year
This is a four-year version of our BSc (Hons) Forensic Psychology course, with an integrated foundation year. Apply core psychological theories and concepts to understand criminal behaviour and the legal system. Examine violent offending such as murder, harassment, cyber and sexual crime. Graduate and work with prisoners, offenders and victims of crime.In the first year – the foundation year – you will study five modules: Succeeding at University; Foundation Project; Practical Numeracy Skills: Foundations in Health Sciences and Wellbeing; and Big Issues in Health Sciences and Wellbeing. . After completion of this foundation year, you will then move onto the Forensic Psychology honours degree course.In addition to the British Psychological Society (BPS) core areas that you will study, you will also take an integrated perspective to examine criminality and legal issues. You will develop vital skills for forensic psychology such as using psychometric tests and working with other disciplines.
