Management is the study of the processes that lead to an effective organization. It’s a broad field that influences nearly every function of business, from personnel and sales to project management, international management and more.

As a student in the management major, you'll master the leadership techniques it takes to improve teams, organizations and society. Through real-world learning opportunities, you’ll explore current managerial practices in organizations and develop skills in self-awareness, problem solving, decision making and communication. You’ll also learn to approach leadership styles and business problems in an ethical way. Upon graduation, you’ll be ready for a meaningful career in project management, non-profit management, recruiting, management consulting or leader development.
