MS Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Biotechnology

The Clarkson MS in Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Biotechnology curriculum ensures degree recipients will have an advanced understanding of basic and applied bioscience and biotechnology, be familiar with and be able to use the instrumentation and techniques that are the core of contemporary bioscience and biotechnology research, be able to use quantitative techniques to analyze data, and be cognizant of the ethical and policy implications of biotechnology.

Based in the Department of Biology, the Bioscience and Biotechnology PhD and master's degree programs are designed to be truly collaborative with other departments.

The Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Biotechnology master's degree program (IBB-MS) is designed for those who need a bioscience MS degree to be competitive for biomedical and biotech industry scientific and administrative positions, or a bioscience MS degree to be attractive for strong PhD bioscience graduate programs, or else a bioscience MS degree to be more competitive when applying for highly-competitive veterinary or medical school professional programs.
