MA Psychological Sciences

Why do people do what they do? Psychologists study behavior and from your own experience, you know behavior is complicated! If you want to better understand yourself and others, psychology is for you.

We use biological, cognitive, developmental, social and personality perspectives to study why we do what we do. This training is useful in many ways to find success in clinical, forensic, corporate, research and educational settings.

The Master of Arts in Psychological Sciences is designed as an intermediate degree focused on developing student research skills. This program prepares students for doctoral-level studies in a variety of psychological sub-disciplines, including experimentally-oriented fields like developmental, personality, cognitive, and biological psychology, as well as applied fields such as counseling, school, and social psychology.
