Master of Public Health, Health Systems Administration and Policy

Would you like to make a difference in the world? Do you care about social justice? In our programs, you will learn how to help create a society where everyone has an equal chance to be healthy. The field of public health is about both preventing disease and injury, and promoting better health among different populations of people. Our students learn how to plan, implement, evaluate and sustain public health efforts that enhance population health and eliminate health disparities – from small programs that provide direct health education to groups of people in different communities to broad-based campaigns for better public policies and laws at the local, state, national and global level.

The 42-credit Master of Public Health program prepares culturally and professionally competent leaders in Health Systems Administration and Policy, by providing an interdisciplinary academic and experiential program with a focus on social justice and health equity. The program accepts students with a variety of undergraduate degrees and professional backgrounds, including science, health, the arts, history, communications, law and more.
