The LLB (Hons) Law is designed to provide you with the legal knowledge and the professional skills which are essential for a career in law, as well as for a range of other rewarding careers in other professional sectors. Alongside the core legal topics required by the Law Society and the Bar Council for a qualifying law degree, you will have the opportunity to explore a range of specialist subjects, including aviation law, medical law, company law, and asylum and immigration law. You will also be able to take part in a range of extracurricular activities aimed at enhancing your employability and career prospects. Our LLB is also accredited with the National Association of Licenced Paralegals (NALP) and offers you the opportunity to obtain a Higher Diploma in Paralegal Practice and become a NALP Graduate Member upon graduation. In addition to these traditional careers in the legal sector, a law degree is an excellent starting point for a whole range of other professional careers, including in management, politics, human resources, local authorities, the police, the civil service and the charity sector.
