Course summary

Working across traditional disciplines of drama, music and dance, this exciting and innovative course responds to the creative industry demands of today by developing artists who will graduate as multi-skilled creative producers and practitioners.

What you'll learn

You will work collaboratively and creatively with your peers who may be musicians, dancers, and performers. You will develop skills using creative technologies to create performances, produce events, and develop yourself as a creative practitioner.

You will develop professional practice, through engagement with industry. This may include working with organisations such as Stratford Circus or the National Youth Theatre on large-scale productions, or working on industry briefs with arts production companies, and taking part in masterclasses and workshops with industry professionals.

Graduates who have studied drama and theatre at UEL have landed jobs in a wide variety of areas. We anticipate that with the skills you will gain from the course you will be able to work as:

• Integrated Arts Practitioner – music, dance, theatre
• Creative Producer / Director (across Media, Film, Multimedia, Games, Music, Theatre, applied Theatre)
• Academic Creative Arts Research / Practice (e.g. MA Performance Practices at UEL)
• Creative Project Management
• Creative Arts Production and Technical Crew.
