BA (Hons) Global Studies with Human Rights (Including Foundation Year)

Our BA Global Studies with Human Rights (including foundation year) will be suitable for you if your academic qualifications do not yet meet our entrance requirements for an undergraduate course, and you want a programme that takes you to the right academic level as well as improves your English language and academic skills. This four-year course includes a foundation year (Year Zero), followed by a further three years of undergraduate study. You will be taught by our expert staff from your very first year enabling you to choose from a variety of specialist options.Human rights law differs between nations and as a result is one of the most significant challenges we face globally. We approach BA Global Studies with Human Rights from an interdisciplinary perspective; considering factors like globalisation, international relations, lessons from modern history and patterns of migration, to explore our increasingly connected world whilst building your expertise in human rights.Based in our Interdiscplinary Studies Centre you'll be taught by experts from a multitude of disciplines, giving you a well-rounded approach to your studies. You will also be taught by experts from our Human Rights Centre who advise the UN, the UK government and foreign governments, and who conduct world-leading research. By graduation, you will be prepared to address the complex issues which confront the modern world.
