Education Specialist Counseling (Non Certification)

This degree does not qualify a student for any teaching certificate in the State of Alabama. Out-of-state students should check carefully the certification requirements of their respective state.

Program Admission Requirements

To be admitted to this program, the prospective student must meet all requirements for admission to the School of Graduate Studies and hold a valid master’s degree with at least 18 hours in counseling coursework or a related field.
